The local Conservative team doesn't just talk, they roll up their sleeves and get stuck in

Your local Conservative team are seen struggling to clear the blocked drains on the Bournville Green..

We have reported countless blocked drains to the Labour council but our pleas have been largely ignored.

All over the Bournville area, drains and gullies are being allowed to remain blocked through Labour council neglect, leading to flooding on our roads and pavements.

If road drains aren't maintained properly, they will eventually pose a serious flooding risk to property should we experience more heavy rainfall.

Unfortunately, over the last three years, the Labour council has reduced street cleaning in this area and has failed to clear up winter leaf falls. This inevitably leads to blocked road drains.

We shall continue to campaign for the council to reintroduce a proper regular gulley cleaning programme in Bournville.
